As with any other regular guy, my passion is speed, fun and more speed. Though am a car enthusiast, my *practical* passion ends with motorcycles. Though I love my 2000 Volkswagen Jetta V6 manual, I intend to share more info on the motorcycles that i have owned so far.. for the speed lovers!
I currently have a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6, 600cc 'street' sport. Its slightly heavier than its pure race sibling ZX-6R (about 35 pounds), but I bought this Ninja as it appeared to be a better choice for daily commute as well as speed bursts. And hey, shalini wont like the seats of ZX-6R for sure.. that has a really ackward pillion seat! Well, thats the problem with most sports.. be it Yamaha R6 / CBR F4i or Suzuki GSX 600, they all are designed for races and not for small roads.
I used to have an old 93 Honda CBR 600 F2 until about a couple of months back.. yeah, some sucker stole that! It was a great bike and I certainly enjoyed it. The CBR was the flag ship model for Honda and it was the first bike ever manufactured in 600cc class under 400 lbs. It was a fairly light, basic machine (no fancy gadgets) and just did what i wanted...
I like my new kawasaki than the honda atleast for one feature: double disc brakes at the front.. yeah, I can really do a *front wheel wheelie*!
Needless to say, as you have figured by now, am not a 'tourer' kind.. especially Harleys. I certainly do not want to mix up driving and sleeping...
